CustomCommerce BV.(Handler under navnet "GoCustomized" , "we" and "us") processes privacy-sensitive data (personal data). GoCustomized considers careful handling of personal data to be of the utmost importance and therefore process personal data with the greatest care and confidentiality.

In this privacy statement we explain what personal data we collect and process and for what purpose. We advise you to read this statement carefully.

This privacy statement applies to:

You: the person whose personal data is processed by GoCustomized;

reseller: the salesperson with whom you place an order through a (website) module that is connected to the systems of GoCustomized. These orders are sent directly through the website module to GoCustomized and processed by GoCustomized on behalf of the reseller.

Article 1 - When do we receive personal data from you?

GoCustomized receives personal information from you in the following situations:

when you visit (one of) the Websites;
when you contact us, for example by e-mail, through a contact form on one of the Websites, or by telephone;
when you sign up for GoCustomized's digital newsletters or commercial e-mails;
When you place an order through the webshop on (one of) the Websites, or through a reseller of GoCustomized;
When you create and/or use an account through (one of) the Websites;

By placing an order a customer account is automatically created.

In principle, if we ask you to provide us with certain personal information you may always decline. You decide what information you are willing to provide. However, without certain information, we may not be able to provide all the requested services, or certain features or functionality of the services may not work optimally. For example, we cannot send you your order if we do not have your delivery address. If only certain information is required in connection with a service (mandatory fields), this will be clearly indicated.

Article 2 - What personal data do we collect from you?

Website visit

When you visit the Websites, our servers automatically store information such as URL, IP address, browser type and language, date and time of the visit.

Contact with GoCustomized

When you contact GoCustomized with, for example, a request for information, GoCustomized will keep the personal information you provide if this is necessary for a proper handling of your request.

Newsletters or commercial emails

We will only send you a newsletter by email about our products and/or services if you have given us your explicit permission to do so. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe button at the bottom of the newsletter, or by indicating this in your account.

In addition, we may contact customers by email to offer our own and similar products or services as those previously ordered from us. If you do not wish to receive these emails from us, you can also unsubscribe through the unsubscribe button (right to object).

Placing orders

If you place an order through one of GoCustomized's Websites, or through a reseller, we will process the following personal information from you:

Given name and surname;
company name (if applicable)
email address;
Phone number
Invoice address
Delivery address
Payment details

Account registration and account usage

You can create an account at GoCustomized, in which case you do not have to re-enter your personal data every time you place an order. In addition, in the account you will find an overview of the products and services you have purchased from us. In some cases, this account is necessary for the execution of the agreement, invoicing, and payment. In order to create an account, we need the data as indicated above when placing an order. In addition, we process the following data from you:

Username (chosen by you);
Password (chosen by you): this will be hashed, we cannot see your password;
Other information that you provide to us on your own initiative;
An overview of your order history at GoCustomized.

Photos and other personal content

Some of our service-specific applications allow you to share photos and other personal content with us so that we can provide personalized services.

Article 3 - Purposes of data processing

Websites visit

The Websites keep track of general visiting data and click behaviour, so that we can further optimise the layout of our Websites and improve the provision of information, but also to combat fraud.

In addition, when using the Websites, cookies are placed on your computer, smartphone, or tablet. See below for more about the use of cookies by GoCustomized.

If our purpose in processing your personal data is for the performance of a contract with you and/or

to provide you with a service you have requested, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. If

we have asked you for your consent to process your personal data, the legal basis of this processing is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. In all other cases, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR,

i.e. the processing is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests relating to the purposes stated above.

Contact with GoCustomized

If you request information from GoCustomized, GoCustomized will process the personal data provided for that purpose in order to comply with that request and/or to answer your questions.

If our purpose in processing your personal data is for the performance of a contract with you and/or

Newsletters

Once you have entered your email address, you can sign up for our free newsletter. We will only send them to you after you have indicated that you wish to receive them. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe button at the bottom of the newsletter, or by indicating this in your account.

We process this data on the basis of consent; the legal basis of this processing is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.

Placing orders

Through your account you can order products from GoCustomized. We use your personal data to process an order. In particular, the objectives are as follows:

Acceptance of your order;
The processing of your order and the shipment of the product;
To keep you informed about the status of your order;
Invoicing;
Handling questions and complaints.

The data related to an order will be kept as long as necessary for the handling of the delivery and payment, or longer if a dispute has arisen between you and GoCustomized. If you create an account at GoCustomized, you can also find an overview of your order history. In that case, orders will be saved as long as your account remains.

We will keep your personal data as long as your account remains with us and longer if necessary for GoCustomized, for example if a dispute has arisen between you and GoCustomized.

Other purposes for the use of personal data

We may also use the personal data that you have provided to us through one of the Websites for the following purposes:

To execute another agreement between you and GoCustomized;
To develop and improve the Websites and products of GoCustomized;

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file we store on your computer, tablet or mobile phone when you visit our website. If you return to our GoCustomized website at another time, the information stored in this cookie is retrieved. Cookies do not store your name, street address, email address or any other personal data. Cookies ensure, for example, that our website works properly,

can be more closely tailored to your needs, and is more user-friendly.

Gocustomized uses Trusted shops to measure customer feedback after completion of an order, for this purpose personal data is automatically collected from the order date. The Trusted shops web server automatically saves a server log file which contains, for example, your IP address, the date and time of the call, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the call. Individual access data are stored in a security database for the analysis of security problems. The log files are automatically deleted 90 days after creation at the latest. If you have given your explicit permission, GoCustomized uses cookies that identify your interests and show you targeted advertisements based on these.

In addition, on our Websites you will find buttons to social media, such as Facebook and Twitter. In order for these buttons to work, cookies from the social media parties are used so that they recognise you when you want to share something from our Websites. Advertisements are also placed on the Websites by third parties, these third parties also place cookies in order to provide their services optimally.

GoCustomized uses a security level for the processing of personal data which, within the possibilities of current techniques, is sufficient to prevent unauthorised access, modification, publication, or loss of your personal data. The Websites use the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technique, recognisable by "https://" and the padlock in the address bar.

The security of your personal data in your account is, of course, also linked to the confidentiality of your account details (password). You are therefore responsible for ensuring that your account details are handled with care and are never passed on to anyone else.

Article 7 - Right of inspection and deletion

If we process your personal data, you have the following rights:

The right of access to your personal data we process
The right to request that we rectify or supplement your personal data where this is inaccurate or incomplete

GoCustomized may be legally obliged to retain some personal data. GoCustomized cannot change and/or remove this personal information at your request.

In addition, you have the right to request GoCustomized to change or remove your personal data. GoCustomized may be legally obliged to retain some personal data. Article 8 - Third parties

We will not pass on your personal data to third parties without your permission, unless:

this is necessary in the context of the execution of the agreement between you and GoCustomized, for example in connection with the payment or delivery of the products that you have ordered; and/or
this third party is a processor of GoCustomized (see below); and/or
GoCustomized on the basis of a legal obligation or in an emergency is obliged to pass on personal data to government authorities; and/or
there is a reorganisation or transfer of business activities at GoCustomized with the result that GoCustomized has to transfer personal data to another organisation.

Our website contains links, including social media buttons, that direct you to third party websites. We are not responsible for the content of the websites of third parties nor for the manner in which third parties handle your privacy.

The privacy and cookie policy of GoCustomized does not apply to websites of third parties, even if GoCustomized has placed a hyperlink on its Websites to these other websites.

When you place an order with a reseller, the reseller has its own privacy statement. This GoCustomized privacy statement is only applicable to the extent that it relates to the processing of the order by GoCustomized.

GoCustomized does not accept any responsibility or liability with regard to the way third parties or resellers handle personal data and cookies. We advise you to familiarise yourself with the privacy and cookie statements of those websites before visiting them.

Article 10 - Processors

GoCustomized engages third parties to process your personal data. These third parties (processors) process your personal data exclusively on our behalf and we enter into processing agreements with these third parties that meet the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation. These include service providers providing hosting services.

Article 11 - Retention periods

Your personal data will be kept as long as necessary for the purposes for which it is processed. After the (legal) retention period, your personal data will be destroyed.

The above does not apply in the event GoCustomized has a legal obligation to retain the personal data for a longer period of time.
